Modest fashion bloggers imagine themselves at fashion week

Every luxury fashion lover’s dream styling challenge has gone viral on TikTok. Fashion influencers and content creators unable to travel to international fashion weeks (which largely took place digitally via websites and social media), have instead created makeshift front rows in the comfort of their homes, filming how they would look if they were physically at London, Milan, Paris or New York fashion week. Each video features multiple outfit changes, themed according to the designer’s show that the blogger is imaging themselves at. The posts are immensely entertaining, and naturally, the social media trend has made its way to Instagram too. Our favourites, of course, are the versions created by content creators in the modest fashion sphere. South Africa’s Nabilah Kariem, Australia’s Nawal Sari, Jordan’s Aya Barqawi and Nigeria’s Hafsah Mohammed top our list of must-watch front row challenge ‘grams:

Dior, Prada, Burberry, Celine and Valentino were the fashion shows of choice for Nabilah Kariem, while Nawal Sari styled statement looks for Jacquemus, Telfar, Dior and Gucci.

Prada, Gucci, Dior and Jacquemus were the brands chosen by Aya Barqawi:

And last, but not least is Hafsah Mohammed, who is the designer behind modest wear brand Elora Collection, and dressed for Victoria Beckham, Prada and Burberry. Watch her video here, where she emulates fashion-week mannerisms to a T — complete with the stylishly snobbish clap of the fashion elite.
